The Green Périgord

The Périgord vert is a magnificent territory located in the north of the department of the Dordogne in the heart of the regional park Périgord Limousin.

The village of Brantôme which is located on the GR 36 and on the way to Santiago de Compostela is one of the six gateway towns of this park.

  • LASCAUX II : Lascaux II is the reproduction (or facsimile) of the original cave of Lascaux, which was nicknamed the “Sistine Chapel of prehistory”, for the exceptional paintings that decorate its walls.
